Global Health Initiatives
Morehouse School of Medicine’s Office of Global Health Equity (OGHE) is a multidisciplinary,
cross-cutting office that
integrates Morehouse School of Medicine’s (MSM) diverse expertise, departments, institutes,
and centers towards the reduction of health disparity and the ultimate advancement
of global health equity. We work to drive innovative global health research, workforce
capacity development, population health initiatives, and build sustainable partnerships
globally and locally (‘glocally’).
The office serves a critical coordinating role and facilitates connections across
units both internal and external to
MSM to achieve sustainable global health impact. The office of Global Health Equity
advances Morehouse School
of Medicine’s vision of reinforcing and achieving health equity through:
Community-based and participatory approach to research, education, training, and service.
Culturally responsive initiatives and partnerships.
