Morehouse School of Medicine Plans to Raise $100,000 As Tom Joyner Foundation School of the Month
APRIL 26, 2017 - Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) has been chosen as the Tom Joyner Foundation (TJF) School of the Month for May 2017. As the school of the month, the TJF will promote raising funds for the institution and highlight its programs that are educating the next generation of health and science leaders.

Emory and Partners MSM & Georgia Tech Receive NIH Funding to Establish Collaborative Diabetes Research Center
FEBRUARY 15, 2017 - Emory University received an approximately $2.5 million grant from The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease for the establishment of the Georgia Diabetes Translation Research Center (GDTRC), which is a partnership among Emory's Rollins School of Public Health, School of Medicine, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, and Goizueta Business School, along with Georgia Institute of Technology and Morehouse School of Medicine.

FEBRUARY 9, 2017 - On January 24, 2017 the Atlanta University Center Consortium Council of Presidents and Mayor Kasim Reed announced the completion of a collaborative surveillance program that strategically places video cameras and license plate readers around the campus community to create a safer environment.
