  • CDC’s Charles C. Shepard Science Award – Winner (Study Design and Data Methods Category) (2012) – this is considered the most prestigious scientific annual award. This award is presented to the best manuscript on original research published by a CDC or ATSDR scientist in a reputable, peer-reviewed journal.
